Outreach Materials
Seattle Waterfront
EnviroIssues
As part of the EnviroIssues team, I developed and produced outreach materials for Waterfront Seattle, a $728M, multi-year transformation of Seattle’s downtown waterfront.
Working within established brand guidelines, I expanded the visual system across print, digital, environmental graphics, and data-driven materials—helping communicate complex infrastructure updates clearly to the public.
Waterfront Seattle is a large-scale public infrastructure project focused on reconnecting the city to its waterfront through improved public spaces, mobility, and community access.

Community
Outreach Mailer
Designed a mailer to communicate the proposed renaming of Alaskan Way to Dzidzilalich, honoring the shared waters of the Puget Sound Coast Salish People.
The design balances cultural sensitivity, geographic clarity, and public communication—integrating maps, storytelling, and clear informational hierarchy.

Design Approach
Communicating at Public Scale
The challenge was to translate complex infrastructure information into clear, accessible communication for a broad public audience.
Clarity & Accessibility
Simplifying technical information into intuitive visuals and messaging
Consistency Across Touchpoints
Maintaining a cohesive brand presence across signage, print, digital, and environmental graphics
Real-World Usability
Designing materials that function effectively in public spaces—from streetscapes to community outreach
Map & Signage
Wayfinding & Information Design
Designed maps and directional signage to help the public navigate evolving construction zones and understand infrastructure updates.
These materials prioritize clarity, accessibility, and quick comprehension in real-world environments.

Digital Campaign Assets
Wayfinding & Information Design
Developed email and digital banner graphics to promote project updates and maintain ongoing public engagement throughout the development process.
Extending the Brand
Across Public-Facing Communications
I led the design and production of outreach materials—including signage, maps, digital assets, and infographics—ensuring the Waterfront Seattle brand remained clear, consistent, and effective across all communication channels.
I created detailed maps and diagrams to communicate construction phases, timelines, and infrastructure changes.
These visuals translate complex planning information into clear, digestible formats that support both public understanding and stakeholder communication.
