Banzai Sushi
Banzai Sushi offers frozen, ready-to-prepare sushi and rice products designed for convenience without sacrificing quality.
The challenge was to create packaging that communicates freshness and flavor in a frozen format—while standing out in a competitive retail environment and maintaining a consistent, recognizable brand across multiple product lines.
The work focuses on creating a bold, appetizing shelf presence—balancing convenience with quality through strong food imagery, clear messaging, and a cohesive visual system designed for retail environments.

The goal was to create packaging that feels both approachable and high-quality—bringing a sense of freshness and flavor to a frozen product category.

Clarity & Convenience
Highlighting key product benefits such as “heat & serve” and portioning for quick decision-making

Establishing a repeatable visual system across SKUs while allowing for product differentiation through color and imagery

- Designed packaging systems for frozen sushi and rice product lines
- Created a cohesive visual identity across multiple SKUs and formats
- Developed the Alaskan Seafood mark to highlight product quality and sourcing
- Established consistent layout structures for front, back, and side panels
- Integrated food photography, typography, and color to enhance shelf impact and readability
- Balanced brand storytelling with clear product communication and preparation cues
