Katie Dolejsi, Senior Branding Designer
Hello! I’m a senior brand designer passionate about creating thoughtful, visually compelling experiences for consumer brands. With over 15 years of experience, my work focuses on branding, storytelling, and campaign design that connects products with the people who use them every day.
My creative journey began in high school painting holiday scenes on store windows at the local mall. That early experience sparked a fascination with how visual design shapes everyday experiences, especially in retail environments where brands come to life.
Early in my career, I joined Walsh & Associates, where I worked on branding for Fran’s Chocolates, a Seattle gourmet chocolate company that quickly gained national recognition. That experience introduced me to the intersection of food, product design, and storytelling. Later, as Art Director at Services Group of America, I led branding and campaign work across several subsidiaries, developing a strong foundation in retail marketing and consumer-facing design.
I later founded Dolejsi Design, where I’ve worked with a range of clients from global brands like Philips Medical Systems and Renaissance Hotels to food and consumer product companies including Choice Organic Teas, Trident Seafoods, and Banzai Sushi. Much of this work has involved packaging, campaigns, menus, and retail experiences designed to help brands communicate clearly and stand out on the shelf and online.
My career has also included contract work with Microsoft and a senior design role at EnviroIssues, where I developed visual systems and public-facing communications for large civic initiatives. Currently, I’m a Senior Designer at Giant Eagle Grocery, where I create work across digital and retail channels including web, email, paid media, in-store signage, and loyalty campaigns.
Throughout my career I’ve been drawn to brands that bring thoughtful design into everyday life. Whether I’m developing a new visual identity, designing packaging, or building a campaign, my goal is always the same: create work that is clear, engaging, and meaningful for the people experiencing it.
