Microsoft HoloLens is a mixed reality platform that integrates advanced optics, hardware, and cloud-based technologies to deliver immersive experiences.

As part of a Microsoft contract team, I developed presentation systems, infographics, and visual storytelling tools to support the HoloLens Optics & Systems group.

Working within a highly technical and confidential environment, I translated complex data and engineering concepts into clear, visually compelling communication—enabling teams to share progress, align stakeholders, and tell the story behind the technology.

Design Approach

Working with highly technical and complex subject matter required a balance between precision and clarity.

My approach focused on:

Simplification - Breaking down complex systems into digestible visual components

Structure - Creating clear hierarchies and layouts to guide understanding

Consistency - Designing templates that ensure alignment across presentations and teams

Speed & Adaptability - Supporting rapid iteration in a time-sensitive development environment

Template Design

To support ongoing communication needs, I developed flexible presentation templates that could be used across multiple teams and use cases.

These templates establish a clear visual hierarchy, integrate technical imagery, and provide a consistent framework for presenting complex information—allowing teams to focus on content while maintaining a polished and cohesive visual standard.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

I Collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams including designers, 3D artists, videographers, and engineers to produce on-demand visual content within a fast-paced technical environment.

Worked both independently and as part of highly collaborative workflows—quickly translating complex technical input into clear, effective visual communication while adapting to evolving project needs and tight timelines.

Strong communication, flexibility, and cross-team coordination were essential to maintaining alignment, consistency, and efficiency across presentations, infographics, and visual storytelling deliverables.
